[Music] Yo yo YouTube, it’s your boys showing back at again with a new series to the channel. Kaiju number eight. I’m Yen and that’s RJ. And uh we both just caught up on Kaiju to be ready for the season. I watched it when it originally aired. R.J. just watched it for first time recently, but we are ready for this new season. The show very good, very great. And Kafka, even though very good MC, so we’re excited to see where the second season goes from the ending of the first. The boy Kafka is going to remain in the defense force. Hopefully, we can see him progress through there and show that he’s not a threat and he can be used. He wants to be at recognized as an actual soldier of the defense force and not just a kaiju. Exactly. An asset to humanity. Yeah. But we have a few things at plays here, a few spinning plates, some would say, with the Kaijus planning something and some intelligence among them, right? So, we will see how that plays out and maybe hopefully this season will touch on how Kofka is able to turn into a Kaiju himself finally. Yeah, exactly. So, let’s see. But for now, let’s get right into this first episode of season 2 of Kaiju Number eight. All right. Some sirens going off. Yeah, we rarely get any cuts of like the outside world. Hey. Yeah, it’s always the base. Oh, this looks like maybe a flashback to before their hometown was attacked. Yeah. Okay. This might be a little inspo and where they kind of made their promise initially. Yeah, I think so. It’s cool that we’re starting out on this cuz we never seen this. No, it was always just reference. Yeah, we just knew it was part of their backstory. Yeah. Whoa. Yeah, we’re starting good here. Really solid. What is happening here? Oh, I think this is a bad dream. Oh, yeah. Okay. The animation has definitely gone up a little bit too since the first season for sure. And he’s in number eight form. Yep. He’s definitely having a nightmare here. I think in the back of his mind, he’s definitely still worried about being executed. Yeah. Okay. Is he like unintentionally attacking them back kind of like he did when he was fighting the general, right? I think he has more control over that form now. I wonder if he can go on a rampage like that ever again. Maybe he’s also afraid of uh of losing control like that again. Yeah, I could see that. And like actually destroying a city or something like that. Yeah. I mean, luckily they were contained within the facility during that fight. Yeah. If that had happened anywhere else, it could have been detriment. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, the man the boy himself. Imagine going onto a rampage by accident while you’re middle of sleeping. That could be problematic. True that. Okay. So, they’re like that we’re trying to get some reconstruction here on all the damage we had. Yeah. Basically just the aftermath. Yeah. Unfortunately, that fight took a lot of the their base down. Okay. So, it’s still very fresh. But it’s nice to kind of treat him with some kind of humanity. They gave him a nice bed. He wasn’t constrained, right? Still a killer scene, right? Saved everyone. Hanked all that. He would have all been dead. We’ll hopefully get to see where uh Renu Yeah. also gets placed. I do like him and this guy with the red hair. I don’t know his name, but I like that they got paired together, right? They’ve kind of just become boys. Yeah. Oh, is this a Osaka? It looks like it. It looks like it to me. I don’t know. We’ll have to see. But I like that like even people that aren’t Renu care about Kofka now. It’s like the second episode of the first season. still has faith in him, which is nice. Rand’s been number one real boy since the beginning. Oh, it is Osaka. I’m pretty sure that’s um who made a sky building. That’s pretty funny. I think I’m pretty sure they’re really hitting all the landmarks here. Yeah. I mean, the Kogi does take place in Japan, so yeah, the emojis. Hello. Oh, is that Oh, I was like, is this Why does he have emojis? All right. Yeah, she’s the only one who actually got to witness the fight between her dad. He’s a tall man. Holy just building a mountain. Jesus. Right. She got basically promoted. Yeah, she did. Out of that the regular groups here. Yeah, she also has a big weapon, too. All right, so this is big. All right, we’ve seen this guy. We have seen him. Guy’s an absolute gamer. He’s like, “Give me a second. I’ll talk to him.” Man’s just playing ranked right now. That’s just a This guy’s his guardian. Yeah. Gundam. Yeah, it’s just a brat Yamazon. Oh, we got to clean up the task force here. They actually do have people clean it dumping all his like figurines. I like how that’s their captain. Yeah, she’s definitely like, you can’t be serious. Yeah, they got to show him respect regardless of what you think of him, right? He’s clearly more relaxed. Yeah. All right. Right into the action. Whoa. What are we looking at here? Looking little Kaiju coming up. All right. We’re getting ready for this. Kind of showing us like how everything goes by as soon as there’s a Kaiju alert. Okay. Everyone’s heading to the scene here. Yeah. Yeah. Then all the citizens get alerted, too. Yeah. They’re prepared for this now. They know exactly the drill. Standard procedure at this point. Mhm. Little Godzilla. I was about to say. Ooh, some rockets. They really roll out the full military might for this. I like that they like a Godzilla clone just to show this off. Just to emerge from the water and everything. Yeah. Oh, okay. Kind of smart of the Kaiju, honestly. Yeah. Okay. Some cool looking side characters here. This is his squad. Yeah, I like that with the suits that they can just move way more agile than normal humans. Almost forgot how good the suits were. Yeah, they’re probably their power levels are crazy. Yeah, they got a pretty good team. He just gets to watch. Yeah. Okay, boy. Whoa. All right. Hey, looking clean with his hair up. Let’s see what this guy can do. Oh, he has his own weapon, too. Hey, looks sick. Oh, it’s a rifle, too. I mean, he’s a squad leader. It makes sense. He would have his own like personal weapon. We actually saw him pull this out against Kafka. He did. Yeah. Wow. He one shot. Dang. Jesus. Easy work for my boy. The Look at the explosion like size of all the blood. Damn. My boy. That’s all she wants to show off all the power she can. They just push him all the way to the bottom. [Laughter] Is everyone online? Little tiny baby phone. Okay, so he’s super casual. man does not care, but he locks in when he needs to. Exactly. It seems like his squad members are the ones that keep him in check. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, okay. Maybe he gets to get filled in on it. Yeah. Or he knows already. He already knows. He’s there. He watched the fight. They’re there for the final decision on what they’re going to do with Kofka. Maybe he can join their squad. Yeah, I like that he’s actually physically training his like human body. I wonder how she’s feeling cuz I know they’re friends, but same vein. She watched him almost kill her dad. So, it’s kind of like he can go on a rampage still. True. But she knew that he was testing him. Yeah. Okay, let’s see. All right, let’s go. big. Yeah. All right. So, he has no choice here. Yeah. Oh, okay. Oh, man. Is not going to accept this. Hey. Yeah, apparently not. It’s true. Maybe we’ll be able to earn his trust in the next coming missions. Yeah, we literally got to start being prepared for actually anything. Yeah, exactly. They’re evolving. So, so do we. Especially because Kaiju number 10 attacked them on home territory in a base. We have to be ready for worse. Oh wow. Guy has no wow respect for Baka. Okay. We’re going to earn it. Yeah. We got our own dreams. All right. Exactly. Got to stand next to her. Yeah. Whatever, man. Yeah, I don’t think he’s gonna All right, fair enough. Damn, guy’s cold as my suit. Literally use you as my suit. Okay, well, we’re in. Yeah. Yeah, we got a lot of rebuilding to do. Yeah, does make me sad though cuz we might not be spending too much time with the third division. I do love my boy Hosha. True. But the girl Kudo is going to be coming with us, too. So, it’s true. We’re not alone. At least we’ll get some progression with her. Hopefully make her dad proud. So, it’s true. Looks like a underground facility going on here. Okay. that they have here, right? They had someone in. Maybe they’re cooking someone else up. All right. Or a Kaiju. Yeah. Oh, no. There’s stuff clapping. Okay. Another Kaiju. Could be the rumblings of a kaiju. Yeah. Oh, wow. It’s sinking like the city. Portions of the city. Yeah. Massive sinkhole. All right. Okay. All right, ladies and gentlemen. Great first episode. Feel like we got a lot of setup for what’s to come. Joining the first division here. Mhm. Definitely a lot more uh kind of preparing us for the rest of the season and a little fun introduction into Gen Narumi’s actual character this time around. Solid good looking guy. That weapon. Yeah, is pretty intense, man. Yeah, I’m really hoping to see a little bit more out of him. He’s clearly very overpowered. So, I have a feeling we’ll also get a showcase as we see the evolution of Kaiju. My man doesn’t hadn’t really had to try too hard. No, not at all. But we’ll see how the next encounter goes. looking to be a big one based on what they set up. But maybe a little sidebyside action next to Kafka and Gen trying to out show each other how strong they are. Yeah, I think the first task at least for right now is Kafka proving himself, proving his worth, show that he can actually make results, make a difference on the battlefield in terms of defeating Kaiju. But I definitely think that the captain of the first division will have a wakeup call on how much evolution is coming and how we need to make those changes in order to actually have a chance of defending. It may or may not maybe finally accept Kafka in the future. We’ll see. Hopefully, we’ll have to see. Hopefully this season. We also had a little look at the underground lab there as kind of seemed like they were working on something someone maybe a kaiju they were trying to maybe create another weapon for themselves in terms of an entity. I’m excited to see what they’re cooking up there. Clearly some grander plans at play here. A few plates here at play, but I’m excited to see we’re all in land basically. Yeah. All right, guys.
