Rubina in Grendizer UFO (2024) is based on her counterpart from the 1975 UFO Robot Grendizer series while her appearance is closer to that of Teronna from the 1975 Uchu Enban Daisenso short film which was the prototype for the Grendizer series. All 3 characters were the fiancee of their respective versions of Duke Fleed & died protecting him. Rubina’s (2024) death would borrow elements from her prior two counterparts. Teronna (2024) has the look of 1975 Rubina but with a completely opposite personality. Special thanks to ImpactKaizer (@RygerG) for his assistance with this video.
