Yeah, YaoYao kinda need some fixing from Hoyoverse.Yaoyao a good character, has good skills and her kit is one of the best. But there is just one small issue that seems to has some problem with YaoYao.
Genshin needs to fix this.

I know an strategy to make Yuegi light the Dendro Torchs. Just stay in the torck and Yuegi will try to hit you and boom, torch with Dendro!

Just go near a monument with an ally who need healing because its has a small aoe
This is not an issue, summons of all types are coded to avoid firing towards elemental monoliths to prevent them from messing up some puzzles.

I remember having this same issue with Guoba in Dragonspine. To be fair though its still less annoying that Diluc doing a 180 in abyss to hit that one fly buzzing around behind him.

Personally a lot of characters need some reworks. For example Klee's Burst should function even when she isn't on the field personally, would make her excellent for applying pyro on enemies. This will also mean one of her Constellations will have to be reworked as well as one of them causes an explosion when you leave the field with the burst active, but then again, maybe no change on that constellation is needed, extra boom is extra boom for our little terrorist. I think Qiqi needs to be able to spam her elemental skill more often as well, the cool down for it is so long which is why Barbara is still better at the job of an active healer than Qiqi.

I use Yaoyao all the time and sometimes I take out the bunny to heal my team.
But then the bunny tries to be a pyro user and hits every torch in the vicinity.
