  1. hiii guys im back from my lil break! working on getting solo leveling and apothecary diaries reactions up within the next few days 🙂 ENJOY MORE WINDBREAKER YIPPEEEE

  2. Absolutely love the fact that they depicted Tsubaki's back story without relying on an antagonizing force. No bullying or trauma or cruel reactions, just focusing on the quiet internal struggle of realizing you're different and learning to be okay with it. Sometimes the journey to self acceptance doesn't have to be defined by suffering. That was great storytelling.
Not to mention how the episode ALSO then handles the depiction of high-functioning depression and that the signs of it may not always be readily apparent. Such a carefully thought out and beautifully handled episode

  3. while the anime handled this pretty well there was a small line that it skipped that would have added some more useful context. in regards to the dusty closet, which most reactors don't realize is both of their clothes, tsubaki mentioned that ito-san would dress up (and also put left overs up) for company even if it was at home. the dusty closet showed how little effort he was putting into himself and how much he was avoiding something that tsubaki knew he loved; fashion. it's hard to tell just how much he went out, but if he did, you can basically assume he just went through the motions without carefully choosing his outfits. his story is really heartbreaking the more you think on it, so I can imagine how worried tsubaki, who loves with all of his heart, was for him.
