this episode, casually destroying me emotionally…
"It's in the past" and "it's not your fault how it happened" is the exact opposite message this season is trying to convey, regardless of how he wound up in the position he did, it doesn't change the lives of the people he took nor the feelings of the people who survived.
Also "strength" doesn't just mean physical, it's also mental and right now Thorfinn is in a really bad place and he's "weak" (vulnerable) because of it.
Case in point, it doesn't matter how strong he was, he would have still died last episode because of his mental state.
Also towards the end when Einar was choking him, it had nothing to do with his perceived strength, his guilt would have let Einar kill him even if he was awake.
And that last scene was really powerful (though it was the ending after that brought me over the edge).
I let my sensitivity speak and I ended up crying..
