Vampire Dormitory Season 2: Will It Happen? Full Update!

The Vampire Dormitory anime adapted only the first 6 volumes out of the 14 available in the manga, meaning there’s plenty of source material for a second season. But will it actually happen? Unfortunately, the commercial performance was very weak: DVD sales ranked below 8,000th on Amazon Japan, only around 20,000 users favorited the anime on d-Anime Store, and the average views per episode on Abema TV were just 30,000. In the West, it wasn’t much better, with about 16,000 ratings on Crunchyroll. Plus, the manga concluded in mid-2024, removing the main promotional incentive for a new season. Because of this, the chances of Vampire Dormitory getting a Season 2 are extremely low. If, against all odds, it does get renewed, the release would likely not happen before 2027, since by early 2025, there was still no official announcement.
