This has to be one of my favorite episodes ever, so much good dialogue. Oh and also the reason why most shows you react to are male characters is because most of them are Shonen meaning meant for an audiance of young boys the is the same called shojo directed towards joung girls etc there are more categories. This definition is getting more and more outdated but there are trobes that always come back.
I was literally shaking in the second half of this episode
I want you guys to watch Mushoku Tensei. The deep philosophical and analytical discussions you go through is mind-blowing. Mushoku tensei has some of the best character writing but it is very divisive among anime fans due to the problematic depiction of pedophilia in the show, mainly during the 1st part of the show, but ignoring that the show is amazing and the dialogue is so mature as you go through all the episodes and has strong and good female characters
This my favorite episode of the season best one for me
I forgot how good is Vinland saga was I need to rewatch
God regularly punishes humans with DV equally. Hurricane, earthquake, tsunami and eruption. well,it's very anime and strange that Canute approaches Berserker and doesn't get beaten to death by Berserker.
The scene when thorkell asks thorfinn "what is a true warrior?" And then it shifts to canute asking the priest "youre asking me what love is?" Is one of the best transitions i have ever seen
React to Kimetsu no Yaiba 🙏
What I think the priest was referring to with love is something like what Jesus did that he loved both those who loved him and those who hated him because there are no enemies, for the same reason when he was crucified he said that the I forgave because I knew that they don't know what they do, I think that's what he was referring to as unconditional love, that's why it's unattainable for normal humans but for nature that doesn't discriminate against anyone
Man haters? "My boy(s)" is the like main thing they say… lol Lets watch Claymore since a girls the main character.
There's a lot to be talked about in this episode. Willibald's attempts to teach Agapism, and the way it relates to Thors' own personal philosophy. The way that pressure from family and society makes people feel forced to make certain choices, and the core theme of creating/building a place where things can be different. Even Thorkell's pursuit of the deeper meaning behind becoming a "true warrior."
I'll settle for a comment about Thorkell's Big Secret.
Believe it or not, you already have all the hints you need to already have figured out what Thorkell is hinting at here. Yukimura set this one up well in advance. Everything you needed to know was already talked about by characters in the story by the time you finish the scene at London Bridge. If I ever get around to trying to write, I hope I can be half as good at setting up themes and clues as what is displayed in this story.
Yes this episode is a religious experience
the nihilistic priest changed the direction of the show lmao
Lola saying the characters in the show has a lot of problems with thier fathers when the jacket she's wearing is written "sad dads" on it is the funniest thing ever🤣🤣🤣🤣
Even the most vikingish viking has a craving for truth/purpouse/meaning, even the most deluded person in matrix/maya/reality has a silent voice of his soul vispering to him. Everyone is serching for the same thing ;] And being true warrior is not about literal war, but about battle inside yourself. These ideas is deep inside every person(genes maybe) thats why this show hits so hard.
Vinland saga is so good becouse its not about one thing/theme but it has multiple intertwined themes of different depth(just like reality we live in). You nailed the GROWTH theme corectly :} Lift some wights and you will feel some good pain, becouse there is resistence to growth, but simultaneously that resistance is growth itself..
You have probably the best rection videos on Vinland saga, thank you for being genuine and deep enough :] I will recomend Mushishi for future reactions, though it has compleately different vibe, but similar depth.
If you want a shounen anime series with a lot of women in it, watch Claymore. Elfen Lied would be a good candidate too. Both are pretty gory though.
GIRLS, PLEASE WATCH THE LAST OF US, EPISODE 3 IS KILLER; I'M OBSSESSED WITH YOUR REACTIONS. LOTS OF LOVE.
This episode will always stay as one of the best things I've seen in my entire life ..
you guys dont remember general armstrong of may?
Man Canute just speedran a seasons worth of character development in 1 episode. Technically he already had it all in him, he had political and religious education and he knew the power the prince's words command. It's the shock and trauma from everything that has happened since London, that made him consider and reconsider everything he is aware of, to reach the conclusion that this world is fucked, and he needs to use his princly status to make a better world.
I wonder if Thors had a similar moment either before or after the last battle where he was a viking, and we just don't know about it. Either way, Canute and Thors are so far the only people to reach enlightment on the battlefield.
by far the best episode
It's honestly one of my least favorite episodes. To me Canute transformation seemed like an ass pull, because suddenly he became this genius of charisma in the span of like 15 minutes. I've seem people defend this by saying that it's actually a gradual change, but are you guys even watching the same show? Maybe it was more gradual in the manga, but here he started an episode as a pussyboy and ended being a gigachad. Also priests philosophy is not something I can get behind.
next anime hunter x hunter I beg you
I want to go to Serbia and sit with you watching anime, plz give me visa Lola
Can’t wait for you guys to watch The Last Of Us. Lola is gonna cry so much on episode 3 of that show. 😂😂😂
The way Vinland Saga deserves on what "love" really is, it's really interesting and links more to philosophy. The "love" which the priest is describing closely links to the love both men and women have towards God. Every other form of love is "discrimination" according to the priest. I could be 100% wrong so correct me guys if you know what the priest was really saying. Btw, this is the best directed episode of the series in my opinion (apart from EP 24). You can actaully feel the emotions Canute is having at that beautiful moment. Truly spoken like a king!
Waiting last eps of Attack on Titan and then your reaction
Did you notice that you speak "Askeladd" in japanese, but other names – Canute for example – you say in european? xD
I love your commentary, my girls. It helps me understand and notice many things I missed when I first watched this series.
One day, my song 'Mess' will help millions of people struggling with mental health. Manifesting it into reality <3
