I already love Knives more than than in OG, exactly how I hoped they would handle him. His name finally makes sense lol
Nothing oddly philosophical to say today, only that this was a absurdly impressive episode, studio Orange use of CGI has been reached a whole new level with this usage of everything CGI does good and mitigating what it does bad to unnoticeable level, I knew Trigun was in good hands.
The EG Mine section was definitely Mutou with how flashy it was, while the Knives part felt more Kojima.
I think Yamaoka only storyboarded until the OP.
To be fair, this is pre-July, and if the manga and even the OG anime is anything to go by, Vash doesn’t even know how his powers work until then. I just have this terrible, morbid excitement to see just how badly Knives fucks with him and makes him obliterate the city.
Scrumptious video and the character
Absolutely breathtaking episode! Beautiful music with fantastic visuals.. The contrast/use of colors between this and the other two eps though, the last two were nice and bright basically the whole time and despite some serious and dangerous situations there was still lots of humor and fun in them.. but this episode was dark and moody all throughout. Can't wait for what awaits us in the east.
I still think the original is better
disappointed its only 12 episodes. If the backlash from the fans is anything to go bye we probably wont get season 2. I just want a full length faithful adaptation of the entire trigun manga
