It really has no reason to exist, and it has even less reason to be as good as it is. But man, Terminator Zero was a surprisingly great addition to a franchise that desperately needs a new creative direction.

  2. My problem with retreads is that most of them try and continue the story that’s already been concluded. Instead of treading new ground and doing something unique like Terminator Zero does.

  4. I was worried that having Japan adapt western properties would make the anime industry like Hollywood, but maybe I was wrong. Maybe we need more of this.

  6. It was alright. And alright is kind of high praise these days. I came to this review wondering if you'd have the same complaint that I did: that, as usual, the character that is supposed to argue on behalf of humanity… sucks at it. They always suck at it. Like, the AI makes edgy reddit arguments about why humans are bad do-do-heads and it is just taken as "wow, so insightful, I can't respond to this." Like, Jesus, really. A real peeve of mine. But that aside, it was ok. Not great. Just ok.

  13. This Anime is has no reason to be this outstanding… My tears run deep after watching this show. Never felt so hyped since T1 and T2.

    They cracked the Arnold Terminator code, i never thought i would appreciate any T800 model than Ernie's…but here i am.

  18. It was a too much story 😴 not enough action, its own iconic scenes, more dangerous clever & not just boring! It would be better if I did my own editing!

  20. It was boring to me and I didnt care about what happened to any character in this show. I dont know why. And it had woke notes sprinkled in.

  21. This show was like if terminator and I robot happened at the same time. The AI hell bent on security of itslef and the AI hell bent on protecting humanity from itself

  24. Sorry to say even though I liked the series it’s a knockoff of the Sarah Connor chronicles with its slight differences. Both have the main character time travel to avoid a terminator, both follow as the MC gets chased by the terminator, both bring in a new AI, both have that AI fight skynet. Like I said enough changes but the main story is another ripoff of a previous terminator project.

  27. this anime like all netflix shows does not fail to show men as evil. Once i reached that scene where that AI robot explains how men are bad… i immediately signed out of this trashy show.

  31. I saw the first scene, and man did I already have problems with it. I thought that it would be better but I'll have to see the rest to be sure.

  34. If Anime could do justice for Blade Runner with the Blackout 2022 short film, then a Terminator Anime series certainly felt promising. Thanks for your review.
