  22. Oh hell yeah! This was the movie that made me want to be a director actually. I used to come home every day after school and put in the dvd just to watch the music sequences. Watching it again recently more of the influence from this film stuck than I realized 🤣

  28. According to Allen Covert in the commentary on the Grandma's Boy DVD, the stuff they were smoking wasn't actually marijuana. Covert said him and Peter Dante smoked so much of it, it was giving them headaches. So unless he lied about it, they didn't actually smoke THC.

  33. did you know that the stairway to heaven is a seemingly never ending stairway because it is supposed to be a long grueling process to get into heaven, while the way to get into hell is a fast easy process, almost like a highway….

  37. 15:25 Sadly, only the part about Kyle not wanting to work with Jack is real. They met in a theatre troupe, that they were both a part of. They bonded over music, when the troupe went to a performance arts festival. Also…. the best song in the world that they sing about in Tribute is One by Metallica.

  40. I love Tenacious D I wish this was a bigger hit but like John said I get why it didnt hit non D fans.

    Hope they get back together for another album or two.
