was so surprised by the mood change between ep 1 and 2 and this one lmao
As far as I know there's 12 confirmed episodes, so it makes sense that the pacing is quicker.
But man! This episode came swinging like they weren't messing around! If I wasn't buckled in before, I am buckled in now.
Also, I wiki'd it and E.G. Bomber was in the original but he was a minor villain.

90s anime Trigun had very little to work with when it comes to Knives since they had so little of the manga available when they were making it ( most of his powers and character were filler do to that )
Trigun Maximum manga Knives is BRUTAL, this was canon accurate Knives and I am very happy they gave a guy who's name is Millions Knives a MILION KNIVES, just peak Nightow's writing

I had the same reaction when Knives flexed…well his Knives lol I kept rewinding it back because to was ssssooooo damn insane/ awesome.
I might be old school, and some of my opinion based on the past 10 years I spent here in Japan, but old Trigun blows this thing out of the water in terms of animation. Lore wise I don’t know much other than the first anime. But this feels big cheap.
