I appreciate the small bits of realism in th is show, like the son not being able to draw his sword the "cool" way, because that is literally how this would go if you'd try, unless you have really long arms or the blade is much narrower than the scabbard
and you can really see that while the fire in thorfinn has been reduced to cinders, it has not quite gone out just yet.
