Hot take. Some say its too soon but i don't care Top 5 op for me already.
I love it.
Rampage already knocked it out of the park with Down By Law for op 24, a widely loved op and a top 5 for me for sure. (Only other band besides, Funkist who did Snow Fairy aka op 1, FT op 3, and Daisy x Daisy who did Evidence op 7 and towa no kizuna aka op 9 to do multiple Openings let alone consecutive Bangers)
But now god damn they're killing it. This song felt very different for a fairy tail op, the first half feels more like a song we'd maybe get for an ED but it works so well for the op, and the animation and art here was fantasitc one of the best and it also helps this is an arc/cour 2 op, animation is allowed to pop off more because they have more action thanks to the arc and because they didnt want spoil arc 1.
animation is good but can we already get some amazing theme like "STRIKE BACK" level? i am already sick of those gay bands.

I love how OP 2 shows vs Selene fight, knowing a plot over Selene.
Some lyrics have meaning behind them. Especially 0:17 – 0:24. (Spoilers)
"Phases of the moon, in a corner of the changing world" – Selene's desire to live in a world with humans.
"Someone's hope creates someone else's despair" – Aldoron being a pure time human hater as he made himself a tourist attraction and people who live here believe he's a savior when in actuality he uses them as food.
"Rustle of the Earth, swayed by odd coincidences" – Team Natsu encountering Diabolos who are also taking part in 100 years quest.
"People come and go, all of which have meaning" – The many people taking the quest
