I just recently came across this anime and already starting to love it. Can't wait for the next episodes
That "Gotcha" move made me recall when Cid was pulling out his "I Am Atomic" scene lol.
As the grand onmyoji, Seika doesn't even have to move on his place to fight but to test out his battle capacity as a teen and his ki control in that body. Poor demon it didn't realized Seika's abilities and was clearly outmatched.

If they were trying to make the viewers view Seika as a monster, they did well. With the poems and his reviving, even I began to feel creeped out. They gave us a glimpse of how he was likely treated as some demon child in his world
