Its actually kind of weird that these guys never thought that turning into a dragons would back fire on them. Aside from the Dragon Gods. Dragon Slayer magic is specifically designed to kill dragons.
The dragons that came through the Eclipse gate were tough as hell. But. These dragonified mages are nowhere near that level. Lol.
