I think the Japanese lack creativity in this regard. Why do they always have to be demons? Demons are supposed to be the enemies of everything and everyone, there should be no kindness in them, and even if there was, it should be limited to a few special ones.
I think they really need to invent a new race for these "demons", it would be better and make much more sense.
After all, if demons are a race, the logic of them being enemies is lost.
