  6. Just a correction, Askeladd hasn’t made any dumb plays. It’s just that luck has not been on his side since leaving Wales. Imagine thinking that Askeladd makes bad decisions.

  7. Everytime Thorkell throws a weapon from a shit ton of meters away and kills a bunch of people, I get a braingasm. So damn cool.

  9. First, the prince needed a good slap. (both from reality and IRL) Second Askeladd wasn't betraying them but he could see the signs that they were planning to betray him so he again made a decision to put the two people he trusted in charge of the princes safety.

  13. Actually, Askeladd was never at the main battle against the local English Lord's men. If you watch when he's talking to Bjorn about "that plan," he tells Bjorn to go deal with the fighting and to make sure to get some people that they can interrogate. I suppose Askeladd must have decided that he had more important things to do. Luckily Askeladd was already standing right there when Ragnar asked for him, or he probably would have died before Askeladd got there in the first place.

  17. 16° attempt recomending them to please watch Re:Zero, the insight they will give about the story and to Subaru will be amazing, please watch it, you are not gonna regret it!!

  20. Thorkell is beast titan. He can throw things at supersonic speeds.

    Also, I highly recommend Golden Kamuy after this. It's right up your alley, being somewhere between FMA and Vinland Saga. It's an historical treassure hunt adventure show, with lovable characters, nice bits of culture, and a mix of humour and seriousness. Highly underrated, but very great.

    37:16 The difference is that with the current mentality you would end up dead trying to do good, while Askeladd has a better chance of achieving the objective. Because the time in which he lives is very different from the current one. what is more important? fulfill the goal of a greater good or feel good about yourself?

  36. 8:30 Thorfinn isn't any more mature than Canute – he's just callous. But emotionally, socially and spiritually, he's stuck at the day his father died.

  40. I don't really see Askeladd as a good person, nor I think he's trying to be.
    He is someone who knows exactly what he wants and doesn't shy away from using any means necessary.

    -The Legend of Vox Machina, based on the TTRPG series Critical Role, mostly founded by the support of the fans. A lot of humor, action and stories colliding with a solid character based group (but can be trash and gore, so better be aware of this)
