  5. It’s the same situation with WIT and Vinland saga, and Attack on Titan. The production for the second season would have been too fast a turnaround for their liking so they had the option to wait a stupidly long time for them to make the second season or just give the property to someone else. Mappa is usually always willing haha

  7. Even though the studio changed, the core team that is animating season 2 is still the same people that animated the first season. So its still the same team. Mappa did change some core staff but not a lot. So expect the same quality or even better.

  11. The intro with the motorbikes is the intro for Twin Engine, it's the company that is producing Vinland Saga (producing as in financing the anime) while MAPPA is the company in charge of the animation, so in Twin Engine produced animes they always change the logo at the end with with the studio they hired to animate it

  13. 14:06, why is actually pretty easy. So those were slave traders that Einar, that woman and other slaves were sold to who will then sell them to a master. Her being sick to the degree she was is really just defective product, so reason number one, she is already useless as a product. Reason number two, can't have the slave traders themselves or the other product becoming infected with whatever she has. Also as it pertains to the stray arrow that got Einar's mother in the back, should look at it as a stray arrow or collateral damage. Bowman aren't perfect aims, plus people run and move and if you shot an arrow that missed it's intended target and went off god knows where you wouldn't be all that concerned about it. I mean even re-using arrows back then just wasn't something that happened much if at all because arrows back then just weren't that good and weren't durable enough to be used multiple times.

  16. I always kind of felt that you guys were kind of being a bit unfair when it comes Thorfinn. I can totally understand wanting to see some character growth/ development from him. And him to go back to his mother and sister, because I do as well. But him wanting retribution for his father’s death is very understandable. Plus he saw his father die very young, and that definitely emotionally scared him. Combine with basically being raised by a group of cutthroat mercenaries, most certainly didn’t help his trauma. Thorfinn was in teens mostly during S1, so his one tracked anger was kind of understandable in a way. But given all that his been through, I’m sure some prime character growth is on the way from him.

  18. Bummer that Parker and Nicole couldn’t be apart of this reaction, I was really hoping they would. But it’s definitely understandable why they can’t be. I do hope they watch the season eventually. I can already tell that this is going to be very good.

  20. Love seeing y’all reacting to Vinland again. Sad about Nicole and Parker. I do want to say if given a choice between having them for Vinland or Mob it might be better to have them on here. I love both, but I remember how engaged Parker was by Vinland whereas he was a bit disappointed by Mob S2 because there weren’t as big life and death stakes. Maybe they’re choosing to do Mob over Vinland and obviously can’t speak for them, but I figured they preferred the more serious/political/philosophical nature of Vinland compared to the more comedic coming of age nature of Mob. Will be happy to see them either way!

  23. The first 10 minutes is anime original content. I love that there's an emotional emphasis on Einar's character. I felt that rage during that scene transition. 😶😶😶

  24. Ashkeladd became the GOAT since the prologue … He is the most heroic and a bstrd at the same time of anime world. He is Greatness of Honor and Nationalism.
