It's so weird that the show is on for 30 minutes and gives out multiple awards and then says "The game awards start now!". Like no, it started 30 minutes ago, knock it the fuck off.
I'm going to say it, I know people are going to hate it but I'm going to say it, I am fine with games having cinematic trailers. I don't think EVERY trailer needs gameplay in it. I think you NEED to make a trailer with gameplay, but I don't think every trailer needs gameplay in it. One of each type is fine.

You know who I want to see handing out game awards? Asmon, Kripp, like, all the streamers who play games, casters from esports games, like anyone involved or revolving around the gaming world, not a bunch of celebs who could care less and have no clue what is happening or why people play games.
BG3 definitely deserves it, but damn Zelda ToTk was a stron candidate as well.
