Rex: Yeah. You noticed the increasing lack of clones over the past few weeks?
Droid: Yeah. There’s actually a reason for that. Apparently the empire was destroyed from within shortly after being reformed from the galactic republic. I heard a rumor that some guy pissed off a clone commander and he accidentally killed Palpatine.
Rex: Well I certainly didn’t expect that of all things to stop the empire.
Droid: Yeah. Off topic but I got these new handymen coming in later after closing to help with some renovations to the diner.
(Later that day)
Rex: What the? Cody is that you?
Cody: Yeah it’s me. Me and the lads here are the new handymen.
Rex: Heard some clone got pissed off and shot the emperor.
Cody: Yeah heh…I Wonder who got us all unemployed because of that?…Heh.
Rex: …
Cody: (pulls out a blaster pistol) Say anything and I’ll cap you…
