Such a disappointing start for this season.
First of all, why the hell is the opening not changed? It's not like S3 & S2 are even following the same arc! The song itself is good, yeah. But the idea of re-using a song only indicates how "lazy" the studio was with this production. I mean, the opening isn't even visually that stunning either! For example, the art in that shot with all Tenjikou members together was so poor. The fact that they used the exact manga panels is, yet again, another sign of how lazy the studio was that they didn't even bother coming up with creative ideas for this arc's opening, which is TR's BEST arc. For such a climatic arc, I expected a better opening.
aside from the opening, the episode itself wasn't satisfying either. Sometimes I just think the studio HATES Takemichi. Why does he always get the dumbest lines? That scene with Takemichi reacting to Angry and Smiley made me cringe so hard. I swear he wasn't this dumb in the manga. Even if he was, anime can improve lines/dialogues from the manga. This episode actually did this once, too, which was the only thing I liked about this episode: replacing Kakucho's manga line "Save Izana" with "There's a traitor among you." This new line made a lot more sense than the manga one, because, honestly, Takemichi saving Izana? Takemichi was there to save MIKEY, not Izana, lol.
Let's see what will happen next, but my expectations are just so low now.
