Vash gotta be one of the coolest characters I know.
Love to hear from people that watched the original. It had always been on my watch list, but never got around to it. The original still is, if anything I want to see it more.
Maybe you guys can change my mind but I always felt Trigun was meh
Oh, yes! I'm so excited that you guys did this. I love the original Trigun (and Vash), and I was excited when I heard about this series. The first episode is different, but I loved it. I'm honestly glad that they aren't spending too much time re-treading the same ground covered in the original with respect to the Project Seed, etc. I imagine that they will drip-feed us more information about Vash, Knives, Rem, and the other humans as a whole.
As far as the new series goes, I actually like the artwork. The design of the town was great and provided a great sense of place. I like the glimpses of the fauna we've seen so far. They seem to be leaning more into the sci-fi aspect and a little less into the Western. Just my rambling, humble 2 cents.
If the OG manga or anime never came out when it did and was released in 2023 Vash's hair would like this since more younger people have this style of haircut and vash's OG hairstyle mirrors when spiky hair was in with the younger crowd in the 90s and early 2000s also Trigun is more western than eastern.
have mixed feelings about revealing the space scenes and vash's identity early on but it will probably help the pacing of the story. new design of vash is alright just think the old design is top tier. here's hoping milly returns.
