I can't remember if it was a sidequest, or just a lot of extra reading in the database, but that robot had a huge back story about being a king. They didn't say at the time, but that was really an ending to a long story. Pretty cool how you mentioned that at the end. Don't think it was always in a small childlike robot body though. Didn't it have a huge robot body at one point?

I think I prefer the game here. It's a thoughtful scene with long shots but the anime treats it like an action scene with lots of cuts, sound effects and dialogue. It doesn’t give the scene time to breathe. That said 9S saying Toooo Beeee is adorable.
