This whole arc had me emotionally invested that intro and outro were perfect especially the ending its the whole reason it's my favorite manga

Considering what type of arc this is going to be, I love the fact the OP went the abstract route.
All I'm gonna say is this is Vinland Saga, not something like Demon Slayer, not even Thors or Askeladd could survive grievous wounds. Einar's sister is definately dead.
Burning is an agonizing way to die. Drowning seems almost peaceful next to that. I also don't like the idea of my body being scorched and unrecognizable after death
After Thorfinn attacked the king (Canute) last season….. he was probably sold into slavery…. And we’re here after many years pass

Season 2 is already starting off so well. I've been so excited to see this arc animated and we're finally here. Fun fact, the entire flashback with Einar and his Mom and Sister was all anime original content and it was done so well. Hope you enjoy this season.

Askeladd's answer was immediate: He struck off Sweyn's head. The meeting of military leaders erupted into chaos after this act of regicide(the action of killing a King), but Canute recognized the play at hand, and killed Askeladd himself, thereby accomplishing Askeladd's aim. Canute immediately took the throne. But after witnessing the end of his father figure, Thorfinn was left empty inside. He was eventually sold into slavery to work on a farm.
Thorfinn attacked the king. He's lucky they even left him alive.
