I think I know what Shadow and Sonic must do to defeat Nine, Sonic will have to distract nine by calling him tails and other things that bother nine, Shadow will be focused on disabling the mechanical Tails. The only reason that Nine isn’t mentally vulnerable is because he can defend himself with his tails. If he loses his mechanical tails, then he would rather run away like an actual fox would.
