I was skeptical with this woman's true intention. I though she was planning something senister towards Miri. But I was wrong. She really wants to be a good and responsible mother
I hate how Miri's mom died without understanding that she's the mom Miri loves the most, as so Rei Papa is the Rei papa Miri loves the most, and Kazuki papa is the Kazuki papa Miri loves the most. She love them all equaly, but in different ways, and it's sad that she won't be able to grow up with all of them, Miri is the only in the whole show to never be selfish or hypocrits, sicerly, she's very much mature for a 4yo child, and i don't say that with happiness,because this is the result of the amount of trauma she alredy pass, being created for a negligent mother with an abusive husband, being left by her dad, without saying what she pass when Kazuki and Rei werent looking, or even when they were, in the robber episode, and now she'll have to live her life running away from her """grandfather""" and without her mom, only with her dads, they will be constantly paranoic because of the situation. Even with all of that, she still smiles

Misaki deserved the second chance as much as Rei and Kazuki, she was really trying her best and a part of her always loved Miri, Miri also loved her mom a bunch, this broke my heart.
Japanese Anime does suffering of young innocent girls/children like no other. They will make you weep and push you into lasting depression in addition to scarring you emotionally.

I was really sad when Misaki died especially since she clearly wanted to change and be a better mother to Miri. It's sad that it took a life threatening experience for her to realize that. Poor Miri… Girl wanted to have both her mama and papas in her life.
