The second best episode of the year 😉 an absolute masterpiece. 10/10 all the way through!
Episode blew me away, great review once again. Can’t wait for the Shingeki reaction, take your time
This isn't verbatim but the mangaka recently tweeted "shooting a gun should feel as embarrassing as a bare dick". So yeah he definitely has a lot of strong feelings about violence, haha. I'm so glad he's out there writing this story.
This episode blew me away. What a show!
Currently, what is your favorite show you watched?
The music for this season has been so good
Cried again. Thank you for your review, I always appreciate it..
Man I love your content so much. Your intelligence, foresight, and the confidence you speak with are inspiring.
This episode was another all-timer for sure. This episode run with 8, 9, and the upcoming ep10 with Canute/curse of the crown, are truly f’ing incredible. What a story. What a channel…
Can’t wait to see the next Vinland review and the upcoming aot episode review.
I loved how they showed that even Thors has his own demons pulling him down from those he killed before becoming a true warrior. And the fact this is all Thorfinn's construct. Masterful visual storytelling
This episode had me bawling my eyes out
This episode was the greatest piece of fiction I've ever seen in my life
This anime is something else!!definitely my top 10
Don’t know how they manage to raise the bar with every single episode. Absolutely mind blowing
I've always loved your reactions and insights! Which, I could say they're the best of all… And I think this is for me the episode I was looking for your thoughts and reaction. Something very interesting and amazing about the tearing part (which is heartbreaking) is that when the tears fall over one of the souls that soul stops doing sounds and it seems like is realizing that Thorfinn is really broken and sorry about what he has done. That in combination with Thorfinn crying, which for me was like this kid that was full of spirit and joy is crying because of a horrible life and things he has done is a masterpiece. Is like saying I never meant to do that
Will there be a new reaction today?
MASTERPIECE OF EPISODE !!!!!!!!!!
Shi had a nigga emotional and shi
That’s the fire Yabuta sensei peeped urself hoping for more blessings
I'd like to add that in Thorfinn's dream the dead are dragging Thors down as well
Incredible discussion! Never disappoints 👌
Can't wait til ya keep watching Vinland Saga. Seeing your reaction to this was so good, one of the best in the entire series for sure. But I must say, there's a few coming up just this season that rival it. You're in for such a treat
I love the imagery of when Thorffin is being dragged down of Thors also being covered by those he has killed but he has the strength to stand and live with what he has done like how Thorffin must now do.
Si presionan la linea del tiempo y van retrocediendo el video pareciera que esta haciendo sellos de manos.
This is my favorite episode of Vinland Saga. I love the take of spirituality and dreams being the driving force behind Thorfinn's reflection. Particularly the scene of 'pure war' is my favorite. The disturbing imagery, and yet it feels like a break from the reality this story portrays. On top of that, it is symbolic of the darkest depths of humanity's ignorance and desire. Then it becoming the turning point for Thorfinn. Characters like Thorfinn, ones that are so human and dealing with the fine lines between guilt, shame, remorse, atonement, they are my favorite kinds of characters. I also love how he couldn't wake up, because he was knocked out by the retainers. Normally, he probably would have woken up in a fright when he fell and lost sight of Thors. However, he basically had no other choice but to face his ultimate demons in the realm of pure war.
I was watching season 1 with my friends, and they asked me who my favourite character was. I said Thorfinn. At the time, we had only finished 3/4s of the way through the season, and they thought I was a crazy person. How could I like this insane, edgy, one-note brat? Ah.. I wish I could tell them. But they're going to find out soon enough.
This episode was sooooo good. Askeladd continues to be one of my favorite characters even after his death. Love your videos and your in-depth discussions :)!
