You have to know something about this Gilgamesh what the anime doesn’t explain….. Caster Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon doesn’t contain any sword or blade like his archer version….. He is in one way much more nerfed than his archer version……. This gilgamesh is after completing his journey for mystic herb of immortality after departing of his best friend Enkidu and his archer version is before the journey……. Caster gilgamesh gave all his swords and blades to his subjects

Just a warning: Last Encore is capable of being worse than Apocrypha.
In the end gilgamesh always this wise (except pre enkidu).. even in Fate stay a night.. but that depend on humanity of that era.. in fate Stay a night human on that era are too rotten (greedy, bad, etc).. gil despise that.. thats why he became an asshole and try to open the holy grail to wipe all human.. he said the one who not be killed/survived deserved to be his subject/new human to be ruled🤣..
Basically if he being an asshole.. then that mean we dont deserve his wise side😂

It's the body of Enkidu, not a copy. Enkidu is a weapon, not a person, here it has been reprogrammed…
Also, in the epic of Gilgamesh, Enkidu is his only friend, and its gender is unknown. It has been interpreted as Gilgamesh being gay and Enkidu being his companion. In the NASUverse, it's not clear, just like in the epic, but I like to think Gilgamesh is in love with Enkidu ❤.
When Enkidu does his thing with chains coming from the ground to which Gilgamesh responds by magic staffs coming from the sky, it's a metaphor of their legend and I loved it.

Fun fact: In Fate Hollow Ataraxia, Gilgamesh nickname was called: Friend of all Children (Just ignore all the dead orphans under his basement), during the game, you can spot him playing catch and fishing with children following around. He even show off his collection just to make the children goes awww.
Side note: Never EVER call Gilgamesh a god. Calling Gilgamesh a god is one of the biggest insult imaginable to the king. Gilgamesh DESPISE Gods and is willing to kill all of them should they ever be hostile towards them.
Love these two the most out of the whole franchise
I love the undying Apocrypha shade. I gave it a 6/10 personally. The servants were mostly cool, though some were super wasted. Plot wise, I think it's a snoozefest any time Mordred and Kairi aren't on screen.
