  3. When you mentioned Run With The Wind as one of your favorite shows, that was an instant sub. And now that you loved Vinland Saga S2 very much, I think I've found my favorite reaction channel

  4. Leif is the true MVP. Man went on a 15 year mission to find and bring back Thorfinn, and never quit, even when Thorfinn refused to come back with him in season 1.
    And now he even wants to help Thorfinn with his dream.

  5. I think is to show the beginning of everyone real journey that Askeladd is there…Askeladd fighting for Wales, Thors and Helga fleeing to Iceland, Leif discovering Vinland all ties to Thorfinn beginninf his journey to go to Vinland.
    Also Askeladd he will remain an important figure to Thorfinn just as much as Thors no matter what, so its right to show him still

  7. I think the next season won’t take 4 years to make, because covid happened between the first 2, probably affected things a bit. Money and manpower, things like that.

  8. Don't understand why you would mention people being dumb for having other opinions than you guys. They've made plenty of dumb decissions with this season.

    Also for some reason I just wasn't that emotionally invested in the characters.

  9. Love the reunion, not only is Helga seeing her son again but also her Husband. Also Bug Eyes is great very funny and charismatic character.

  10. Hopefully we get a S3, but as someone who has read the manga, I can attest to how good the art is and IMO the story structure is slightly better in the manga. An amazing adaptation though, all around.

    Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
    Samurai Champloo
    One Punch Man
    Madoka
    Yu Yu Hakusho
    Darker than Black
    Made in Abyss (only because of the last few episodes)

    There are many more obviously. There are probably anime from this season that are better too but I don't watch seasonals.

  14. A true warrior doesn't need a sword.
    The son thinks he shouldn't need a sword, his One-Punch-Sister knows she doesn't need a sword for another reason. 😆

  15. I would recommend reading the first four omnibuses instead of rewatching S1, you get some extra scenes (but other than that it's the same story). Also reading tends to be quicker. By the time you get to the fourth omnibus the art is amazing (and it keeps getting better).

  16. There is ALOT of crossover in S1. There's a good video on S1 made by VinnHard called "Thorfinn, Pride and Apathy | A Vinland Saga Analysis". The video mainly deals with Thorfinn during the prologue. It's a great video that helped me understand a little more about his charcter and why he's not just this edgy revenge kid in S1.

  26. I’m not sure why they changed when thorfinn cuts his hair. He was supposed to do it before he told them about his experiences while he was away and it was a really nice moment with Ylva. Still 10/10 episode tho

  28. Just binged the whole season in two nights… solid season of course but definitely overrated by some of yall. I don't mind the slow pace at all but the story telling particularly the characters bipolar behaviors were out of control the whole way especially Einar. also was not a fan of the dialouge all throughout repeating the same stories and essentially recapping for half the ep not to mention the bgm 😵. Season one was peak cuz although I knew from history Canute would eventually take over the story was never predictable whereas there were several episodes this season where I was literally calling everything to even some lines and exact 😆scenes. Standalone this season would not get another
