Well holy… What an episode today starting with the fight with Thorfinn and Snake which was excellent but man was everything after that just spectacular, loved the ending of this Gardar/Arnheid arc and what a warm yet cold way to end off it truely was something special. Like I said everything just came to make this a masterful experience, the VA’s, the sound effects, animation, OST it was all beautiful and couldn’t have wished for anything better wow. One of the favourite episodes I’ve watched in a while and so great to see Gardar and Hjalti reunited right there but things look to be going back to the darkness next episode with the return of Ketil and now that Arnheid has been captured but let me know what you thought in the comment section, what an episode.

I really loved this ep BUT the only complain I could have which I can see people not liking is that they kinda dragged out Gardar's death scene but it's those people who either don't care about this Gardar/Arnheid arc or thought they just spend too much time on it. I do feel like they spend a little bit too much time on it BUT they did it well in most of the time so.. it's not MAJOR issue for me at all. lol Other then that I feel the same way as you. 😄
the scene where gardar touches his son's face with his bloody hands is actually the 1st scene from season 2, where the narration was in the Nordic language
I'm sure there will be more sad stories to come next week.

The point that Snake brings up as to the value of a life is valid. Criminal or slave, I still side with Snake on this one.
