I CANNOT say enough…. VINLAND IS PEAKLAND. This is one of the rare jewels in anime that has the ability to make many cry JUST from dialogue through many episodes. Thorfinn is doing it!!! From him saying, “what is it that I want to do?” TO “I know what I need to do.” 😩 I’m so freaking proud of our man Thorfinn. Arnheid’s character was VITAL in this season. So for people saying she was too focused on… sit down. She is (in some ways unfortunately) the CATALYST to what Thorfinn & Einar are about to do. Canute doing what he did gave me MAD respect for that man. So freaking good. Masterpiece. Next episode, Home, is about to be emotional… 🥹
Fun Fact: The IRL Canute was such a GOATED King that emphasized peace and prosperity for his kingdom that he's 1 of only 2 English Kings with the title "The Great."

There are so many people that just watch shonen only that never can appreciate the brilliance of this anime. They say it's too boring or there is no action. This anime has taught me so much about life, anger, violence., being able to change yourself You know it's a good anime when it's got you changing your views on life.

I said it on twt and I’ll say it again. This show is just insane. It’s so deserved of it’s title of peak. No bullshit It’s not just a meme it’s given to it for a reason. Exceptional storytelling, real characters, great pacing AND great can’t ask for anything more. The only reason you could even think to hate this show is if it completely oppose your beliefs or why you wanted to watch the show in the first place. This so had me tearing up with joy and had me feeling sumn I can only compare to when I watched the epilogue ep of fmab YEARS ago. This is what anime is about. I’m so glad I decided to watch this and put so many ppl around me on it. Cos it’s just incredible. Btw I have read the manga before but to say the anime did it justice is an understatement tbh. It’s just beautiful man

Imagine being other anime and you have to compete with THIS for anime of the year. The team that's adapted this series deserves all the sucking off physically possible, and even some that's not possible lmao.
After next episode we wait for Peakland Saga to return for season 3.
why its not a 10 ? simple
10/10 means its pefect, Flawless, the epitome of what is possible
and thats where the problem lies, if you had the time to sit down, and rethink the entire season and review the entire season
if you find just one thing that is not perfect… well that just means its not longer 10/10

I cried during the carve it poem that shit is beautiful and it hit me u can actually take some of this show to the real world I have no enemies is such a powerful line and carving urself and ur emotions into reality is so powerful definite my fav story in fiction
Usually there's two or three specific scenes in an episode that are the highlights but this one? God DAMN so many peak moments carved into this episode. From Canute admiring Thorfinn, Olmar's look at the end, Thorfinn and Einar calling each other brothers, the old master's relief, Snake revealing his true name to a true warrior and so on.
Dude that poem was the poem at the beginning of season 2 it has a whole new beautiful meaning after the way it was originally presented
