Einar deserved to be there, he showed thorfinn how to create life, this whole season they did everything together, and canute is spouting his ideals, but this whole season, we’ve seen him commit terrible acts. Killing his brother because he MAY have become an obstacle. Canute is hiding behind ideals and einar is there to confront canute with the lives he can take away without a second thought.
This makes me think about how we got to see or atleast hear about how everyone grew up except for thors. What made him the way he was as a man? Did he go through a life similar to thorfinn?
