Ok so I’ve found Fortnite to only be scary when you use darkness and tension well. Backrooms wanderers had some legitimately fear inducing moments just by the dark and unfamiliar environments coupled with the flashlight gun which requires you slow your movement to see well or barely see but be able to run.
