I'm sorry but Ariel is like my least favorite Disney princess, I mean how can she be willing to give up her voice, family, and home for a guy she literally only knew for a few hours, I mean how can she care so little about her sisters and father that she was willing to leave and never return (because she knew very well she wouldn't be able to go back if she became human and she still made that choice).

My obsession with the Little Mermaid started in 1989 when my Aunties Sharon and Michelle took me to the movie theater to watch it. It was My first Movie in the theater ❤❤❤ and at that time I spent most my time at the Lake or the ocean, I was 3 1/2 years old and like Any 3 year old who loves princesses and fairy tales Of Course you are gonna Cling to the Princess Movie that came out at that age😂. The next time I REALLY Felt that feeling was when Beauty and the Beast came out because Belle has brown hair like me, I have Hazel/ brown/green eyes, they are multicolored so she was and still is the Closest match physically. Also she is an outcast bookworm and the town's people were kinda mean to her for No Real reason and THAT Hit home Hard. With Ariel, King Trident was EXACTLY Like my Father, only King Trident didn't Physically harm Ariel. I also deemed The Beast in Beast Mode was like my father as well, but now it has come full circle for me because my husband is Very Hairy😅, I call him my "Wolfman", "werewolf", or "Beast"😂 🤣😂. But in All seriousness we joke about it, we did a courthouse wedding for legal reasons, but Never Really had a wedding with the family mainly because they didn't know we were married for the first 4 years, we got married 7 months after getting together. The funny thing is we have an Amazing relationship and the fact that we got married so early on isn't important, they see just how much we are perfect together. But the man I call Dad is getting up there in age and his health hasn't been good the decade I have known him and he gave me away originally ( again I knew him and his wife for just a few months at that point but he already was more of a Dad than my blood EVER Was) I want him and my son to give me away at my vow renewal. Part of me wants it Little Mermaid themed because I Love Ursula and the songs but then Beauty & The Beast is just So Us. Looks like this is something I must discuss with my MIL😅 Because I also like fairy core and recently saw this dress that was so flowy and fairy like😍 and it was this spring green and champagne gold❤❤. I do know I am Not wearing white, so many other cultures have these brightly colored, Vibrant, radiant, intricately decorated dresses, I want that over white. I also want something I can possibly wear again, even if it's cosplay, I don't want the 1 time wear. I would rather have something I can wear again and again and again, the 1 time use is just a waste of money IMO

Growing up I usually get fixated on things and qold watch something over and over and I remember getting addicted to mermaids specifically because of the song "Under the sea". Im so happy they did the song in the lve action. The visuals were great. I was so happy😊
