Her name is Francesca Prelati. You remember Gilles de Rais' (Caster) book in Fate/Zero that gave him all those weird tentacle abominations? Yeah, she made that book and then gave it to him.

She's genuinely one of my favorite characters in not just the Fateverse, but the Nasuverse as a whole. Personally, I'm super excited for people to see the wack shit she'll say/do, even if we have to wait another year or two for the anime to see her lol

For a bit of context: Strange Fake is written by Narita, the creator of Baccano and Durarara, so there really isn’t one set “protagonist”
The focus of the story switches a lot which lets tons of characters shine, which is why I think Narita’s style of writing fits the concept of a Holy Grail War the best.
Anyways, if there is a protagonist, I’d argue that there is one for each major side of the story, but that gets into spoiler territory so all I’ll say is there are three of them, and two showed up in this trailer.
Also, yes Gil vs Enkidu is cool. But it’s only the beginning. It isn’t even close to the most destructive fight in this HGW so you know things get pretty insane.
Now I understand why Gil didn't use his op sword to some peasant simp boy from fate stay night. Now he's using it proudly to a worthy opponent
Its story is probably at the middle-to-lower level. and a lot of its stories are boringIt. is far from nasu, but you can expect the production of A1 to save everything.
