Apparently the Ed we got is the actual op for this season. They just wanted to play the first op because why not for episode 1. At least that's what I heard.

I love how friendly maple and the gang got with the other top guilds, no unnecessary drama there
need more of chibi-kasumi, though.
Loli Kasumi was one thing i didn't know i needed until now, i also love how much of a silly little bean she is with her collection, it was a-dork-able.
Also, Maple working together with Payne!? Now THAT is a strong start to this second season! Now that i saw it, i NEED to have Mii added to that combo.
Speaking of Mii, now Maple knows about her precious side and hopefully we get to see it a little more because while i like her whole "Badass Charismatic Leader" persona, i really like it when she is more true to herself too.
On another note, i love how all of Maple Tree seems to be getting some sort of cheat level skill.
Maple: Exists
Sally: No damage once a day and i guess strings too
Kuromu: Dead or Alive
Kanade: Instant casting archive
Iz: Pretty sure her ability to craft anywhere counts
The twins: Just strenght
Kasumi: That's a lot of swords you can summon now
I also love how Maple was like Payne's taxi service in this episode.
Finally, i can't shake the feeling that the devs made sure Maple got the Reindeer outfit on purpose, as a sort of vendetta for all the trouble she puts them through XD
I never got around to future spoiling this anime with ln and such. So I'm excited it finally returned. I do wonder if the guild get anyone new. I love who we have of course, but 1 or 2 more be fun too
MAPLE IS BACK!! <3 I love how it's what we all want – Maple being ridiculously OP in the weirdest of ways. More montage/vignettes, but it's 3 years later so good way to easily remind us of the characters and charms of the first season. I would love useful Christmas-themed gamer gear and Reindeer!Maple is adorable. As is, of course, Loli!Kasumi.
The ending is evidently the Season 2 opening and I am very happy at the amount of gamer girlfriends (Maple/Sally) shown in it. Hopefully a good indication of this new season. #HappySmiles (I also love the idea that the game coders & devs just have these frequent meetings where they vent about Maple & her guild, trying desperately to find some way of counteracting her unintentional cheats. It's like their own version of therapy.)
I love how they kept the S1 intro or this first Ep and you get the new one at the ending. Fun callback and saying "we continue where we left off" and not spoiling anything.

Thinking back at the finale of S1 I dont think that. Payne is the strongest player. He was able to take all of them at once in the final fight. So in a 1vs1 it wouldnt even be a competition.
