I just sold a card on eBay for $1100.00 that I pulled out of a Fairfield Company box I paid 20 bucks for. I'd rather sell a card for that price then pay that much for a box with one card.

do you as a breaker feel your contributing to the card industry downfall. When you and others alike buy all the circulating stock it creates a demand increase for base price of the box. So much so panini changed the whole buying system. That premium price point prices out most others especially at a hobby interest level. Then most of you want others to buy into your breaks for less investment than a box usually for the chance of a pie that 32 others split as well?? $700 box and you'll get 32 buyers @ $40 plus a head you make $580 a box break not to mention you and others add couple shit boxes to up the figure to $250 a person so you clear 3-4k a break in addition to costs. Now a break a night wouldn't be an issue its when you do this for 8 hours straight and are on group break 1411 for the year and we are only 4 months in ! you sir are an asshole.

Of the entire 123 player checklist, there are maybe 6-7 that will get you anywhere close to your money back. Trout, Ohtani, Judge, Jeter, Julio, & Wander. Maybe you don’t get entirely destroyed with a Juan Soto, Mariano Rivera, Nolan Ryan, or Ichiro.
