The scene in trigun stampede that broke me

The scene in trigun stampede that broke me

The acting, chefs kiss. The animation, chefs kiss. Just a work of art. Episode 12/0 takes the cake. (excuse the filter, tryna get the copyright off my back LOL)
Just for some personal input on knives as a character, he doesn’t truly care about vash anymore. Alot of this was just some sick way of tormenting Vash. This entire time he just wanted to use him to get what he wants. In season 2 (Lowkey hope it has 25/26 episodes, that’d slap.) Knives will probably return after a long time of healing. Man, It’s gonna be great.

  1. As an old anime watcher I always had a feeling this was a prequel, even more so with July still being around. Season 2 chads we will be eating good

  2. I don't know if they chose "Nai" as a nickname (short for Knives), or the other way around, but I like that they gave Vash a seperate name to call his brother compared to the original where everyone just calls him Knives.

  3. I'm assuming Nai isn't dead dead and the final scene was supposed to be like "Is this Vash or Nai", but I really hope they actually have Vash come up with some competent rebuttals to his brother.
Cuz like…it's hard to take his "love" for Vash seriously when he's more than willing to essentially kill everything Vash is and keep his shell of a body around.
Maybe that's what season 2 will cover. Vash not just being real sad boy hours and coming up with a better answer.

  4. "The Trolley problem: 1 person you love, or a city full of people?"
"I put the rails in a neutral position, I chose neither!"
"The Trolley derails, and does a sweet grind down both tracks killing everyone!"

  5. Not sure how Knives would survive that beam or is Legato Bluesummers taking center stage as a villain in season 2. Only time will tell. Overall, i thought the story was pretty good. Sure, i was bit skeptical about the show and i was unsure of lot of the changes, but Trigun Stampede is worthy Trigun adaptation as fan of 98 anime and manga.

  6. Heartbreaking 💔
I saw so many people complaining about the reboot but I'm glad I watched it. Such a good show! Now I'm watching the original 😀

  7. I think what made this anime so painful is that neither had a better plan and needed to work together but was too stubborn to do so.

Vash was going to be the next Tesla. He was in the same folder as her. Rem saying don’t show your powers to Knives, etc. Knives didn’t want his brother to die and turn into an experiment like her and after 100 years plants are still abused.

Vash wants everyone happy but in return nobody is happy. He has to see not everyone is nice and can be sway by words. He almost died in July until Knives showed up with those guys. There are people who are bigots towards plants full stop.

If they worked together a solution could be made but they are too stubborn in their ideals.

  8. the first time i watched it i cried,but
my ex said a quote one time because of personal reasons, she said
"*Name* is dead, she died along time ago" and i went to go watch it with my mum n dad (there also huge trigun fans, hell there the ones who showed me it.) and when nai said "what are you talking about? nai is dead" i tryed to hold in my laughter, because what my ex said always made me laugh, and my mom gave me this fucking look,so i had to fucking stop laughing as fast as i can

but besides that, this was a great episode. tho..i am waiting for season 2,but i belive there working on beastars season 3 now (which..i feel like they dont need right now) as they left us trigun fans on a huge cliff hanger, which can upset sum peeps lul

(i got this info off some sites,it might not be accurate)

  9. The predicament: if I just stop watching now, I can deny everything that's coming but get a bad end. If I watch season 2, I get my heart ripped out again and another possible bittersweet end.

  10. There was a studio Orange panel at SakuraCon and apparently the creator himself wanted the story expanded so he gave the greenlight, not to mention he wanted more sci-fi which is why those elements are much stronger in Stampede and change .22 caliber was his idea

S2 is in production and the better reception Trigun gets, the more series they can make so if youre a big trigun fan just know this whole thing has the backing of Nightow himself!!

  11. This what I think:I read trigun and watched the new anime at the same time, and my advice would be to not watch the anime. It is not good, even though a lot of people here says it is (I can't understand why). Characters which are originaly cool and well fleshed since the manga is quite long, here are butchered and not given enough time to really care what happens to them. I know a second season is coming but i don't have any trust in that, because of how the first season ended. The new original story they are going with in the anime hits so much less than the original story. The animation is good but they don't really use it since there really isn't a lot of fights. I liked the relationship between Wash and Knives here but that's really much the only thing I liked, that and the animation.
    Prove me wrong

  12. Just finished the anime today. By far one of the best CG animes I watched. The final battle between Vash and Knives was badass. Can’t wait for the next season 😁

  13. Bruh they're going with the same route as Vinland Saga, and I fucking love it making the prologue first before the real story begins

  14. Despite his madness, he was his brother. In his own twisted way, he was just trying to be a big brother pushing away the bad bullies. In doing so, he became one.

  15. i watched the first 3 or so episodes of Stampede, kind of fell off of it, started watching the original on a whim, LOVED IT, finished it in a day, came back to Stampede and wiped it clean. two amazing series that i probably never would've found if not for random videos like this showing up in my feed. Trigun Appreciation Post, kas Certified 👍

  16. I am so glad I took a chance on this anime but 12 episodes is too short for this intimate and beautifully animated piece of art.
