  1. i've got no comments about the players.. they are playing the game but those idiots it the office putting the rules/laws in place.. e.g. mauls.. thats a automatic try. Once a team starts a maul, forget about defending it it.. I reckon don't wast time drfending it.. it's a try.. anybody can see it… Oh,,, and look at the stands…… empty. Why because rugby is not entertaining anymore… excuse the pun…

  2. Reds stink Thorn must go! He decimated the QLD side of superstars who were still in prime years of their career and going strong to this day. That stupidity netted us a shitty domestic comp and a side that's not even close to competitive.

    Absolutely braindead from QLD rugby

  3. Great display by the Brumbies. And the red card? I disagree with everyone here. He was going for a tackle. There was no foul intent on his part. This game is turning into a circus

  4. The red card was deserved and McDermotts try was a beauty.. but the Brumbies too good in the end with a great kicking performance by Lolesio.

  5. Thorn´s coaching career dissipating with every round. To think, just a few years ago he was being talked up as a possible Wallabies forward coach. On this evidence he´d likely do more harm than good in any such appointment.

  6. "Yeh mate", will have plenty of food for thought after this clash. Some bloody good play in the wet. Shit of a high-tackle. The citing board will have some more 'input'; no doubts there.

  7. Good yellow card review. Emphasis on speeding up the game, easy yellow card referral without spending an age on video replays, later upgraded to a deserved red.

  8. Given what is happening in the head injury space at the moment, it won’t be long before head injured players launch legal proceedings directly against opposing players for reckless endangerment

  9. I can't wrap my head around that initial yellow card on that murder attempt. O'Keefe is notoriously soft on brutal plays. I remember Kerevi concussing Halfpenny for a year during autumn internationals, and not even getting a card.

  10. Reds can only blame themselves. If you leak tries at the end of a half while being one man up, you simply don't deserve to win.

  11. The Australian teams are still the pits. The Brumbies are efficient but boring and the rest of them have been useless for years. The NZ derbies are the only thing keeping this competition alive.

  12. At this point they're better off playing in smaller stadiums for AU derbies saving the bigger ones for internationals and the kiwi teams.

  13. What's with the empty stadiums… I remember watching games when the stadiums for super rugby were packed out and would dwarf game crowds here in the UK.

Is it ticket prices? Or just lack of growth in the game?

I know ticket prices for domestic games here are stupidly priced.

  14. I never agreed with this red card rule in Union. It makes the match so unfair 14 against 15.
Yes red card the person fair enough let him not take part in the game anymore but at least put another person in to still make the game even.
    That's just my opinion.

  15. How can the Brumbies try not be overturned because of the leading fore-arm in McDermotts face ? Looks pretty deliberate and could be a card
