Star Wars: Rebels | 1×13 Reaction | Call to Action

Thanks so much for watching my reaction to Season 1 Episode 13 of #StarWars #Rebels “Call to Action!” What a special episode but also TERRIFYING end. I’m really hoping Kanan is ok!
Please note I am doing a similar approach to Rebels as I did Clone Wars, meaning that I will only be REACTING to certain episodes, but I will be WATCHING all in my own time!

  1. Finally get here early lol. Can’t wait to watch ❤️ my favourite channel out there, love ur reactions and glad to join the Star Wars community while watching and following along. 😊

  2. Some Force users have the ability to commune with creatures of Nature. Anakin had this ability to a degree, it was how he calmed the Bull On Geonosis during the first Clone War engagement.

  3. My favorite thing about emme's reaction videos is the lowes ad right before about prepping your house for winter. I'll never have to do that but its great that I can be informed before a great reaction.

  4. Actually, Andor was tapping Rebels, since Rebels was made first…. and it won't be the last time for another show to pay homage to Rebels to add impact to their own show.. You will recognize those as they come… That shows the importance of this show, being able to tie into it on future (at the time, and still to come) shows.

  5. There are no filler episodes in Star Wars Rebels.

You missed the 2 part-er where Kanan fights the Inquisitor, Ezra talks about his family, and Beast Control is learned.

  6. Actually the Grand Inquisitor is properly introduced in episode 5 (Rise of the old masters), one that I think you should definitely cover (it's also about Jedi training).

  7. Like Obi-Wan says, "The Force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded." And while he's talking about people there, yes, the Force can affect living beings.

  8. Really nice reaction, i just felt like watching it with a friend ones again. And I Never realized it my self, but your right, the show has some Andor-vibes and I think this is why I love Rebels so much. Clone wars is great but some episodes are not really Dark & a bit silly. You just feel there: it’s a show for kids. For sure Rebels is also a show for kids, but in a much darker tone, and I like that a lot.
Rebels is kinda the Kids version of Andor. You see the darkness of the Empire.
One unpopular Opinion: I prefer the Art style of Rebels.

  9. The Force allows people to apply their own will to non Force users via means of suggestion, but it only works on the weak minded — remember Obi-Wan in A New Hope, when he and Luke go to Mos Eisley in the beginning of the film? "You don't need to see his identification. These are not the droids you're looking for." Actually, my favorite example of this is ALSO Obi-Wan, but in Attack of the Clones, when he and Anakin are looking for the assassin that was coming after Padme in the beginning — he uses the Force to make a drug dealer see the error of his ways. "You don't want to sell me deathsticks… you want to go home and rethink your life."

But, as someone else has pointed out too, some Force users have special talents. For example, Ezra shows great control over animals and nature. Quinlan Vos (the Clone Wars) has psychometry, which means he can sense images and feelings from things when he touches them. Anakin has Force visions (dreams). In the books, Mace Windu is able to read "shatterpoints" through the Force, which are basically fault lines and weak points, sometimes physically or mentally.

  10. Thing is: Ezra's speech was happening in 5BBY, the exact same time/year Andor season 1 took place. I always figured it would have made so much sense to build this speech into Andor (especially with a fact that you will only learn in Season 2)

  11. Was it worth it? Fulcrum heard. One more episode until season 2 and all dark side breaking loose. Or was it all light side breaking loose…

  12. Echo's of the past ring true in this episode. Yoda : The fear of loss is a path to the dark side.

Anakin Skywalker : I won't let these visions come true, Master Yoda.

Yoda : Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealousy. The shadow of greed that is.

Anakin Skywalker : What must I do, Master Yoda?

Yoda : Train yourself to let go… of everything you fear to lose.
