I love it when characters who seem brutish are actually insanely intelligent. You would not expect a blood crazed maniac like Thorgil to turn into Sherlock Holmes, but that just shows you why he's so dangerous.

I think the word Heatah was looking for was “theign” in this anime they are a special breed of Dane that serve the royal clan. Thorfinn is technically Canute’s first theign. And it’s 32 of these monsters that they are sending along with 70 Jomsviking

Have to poimt out that Jolmsvikings are elite warriors that in s1 was overlooked because of how strong Thors was and ruthless and intelligent Askeladd units were. King of the northern sea literally can't make them pay taxes because of how powerful of warriors they were. It's not looking good for our farm despite the strength of 1000 armed man against these 100 elites of the elite against farmers that may or not have been in the battlefield in their life
