Co-Parenting is close to impossible in Japan. A recent documentary in Australia showed that an Australian Father of a previous Japanese marriage; had his children literally kidnapped by the mother and travelled back to Japan and had since never been able to contact his children. It's practically legalised Kidnapping as custody must be maintain by a single parent. Even Interpol can't intervene which is even more f*cked up.
