Saber, Lancer, Archer, Assassin, Beserker, Caster and Rider are just classes. Where characters from mythology/history are summoned in to so a saber is not always the same character for exaple Julius Caesar and King Arthur are both Sabers. They fight for a master aka a mage that summoned them. To get the holy grail that can grant eny wish. Not every Fate show follow these rules but atleast the main series does.

Most likely Fate is not as popular becouse of how complicated and large the Fate multivers is. Also you are not going to find almost eny if eny full fights on youtube they get taken down super fast. Thats why everything you can find is cut stupidly.

Oh boy, another unfortunate pair entering the dark void that is the Fate/ series. As a person who's spent over 500 hours playing Fate Grand Order the mobile gacha game, this is exciting. I have two tips for you. First off, try to pay attention to what the characters are saying. Seemingly one-off, throwaway lines might be foreshadowing for later(even for a different season entirely)…also, prepare your mind, because this series can get really dark, at times. Anyway, have a nice day. I'm looking forward to explaining things in excruciating detail(avoiding spoilers, of course), every time you ask anything.

11:06 the story is (at least for the main timelines of any type-moon series) borderline peak fiction the only reason it’s not talked about as much compared to something as generic as demon slayer is like u said shonen always beats seinen that’s why before getting into anime all I ever saw was naruto(which has so much flaws especially in writing women. the writer & book review YouTuber Daniel Greene agrees) instead of berserk stuff which has the best character writing I’ve seen in anime so far & that’s cause I’m biased towards fate. Essentially fate is for game of thrones fans more then anime fans that just want to see brain dead action like in demon slayer cause it has a lot of talking & it’s generally more mature like most seinens

Between the fight between Berserker V.S Saber (Heracles V.S Artoria Pendragon (genderbend version of King Arthur, but we have the male version in FGO and arcade)) and Rider V.S Saber (Medusa V.S A.P) they're not the strongest….

Could you react to the trailer for Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn? It will be an hour long OVA/special thate will air in this summer. Its like 6 mins long, and it might become an anime later. It could be a great time to watch fate when it comes out.

The main reason type moon and the nasuverse aren't talked about as much in mainstream anime circles is because of a few reasons.
Simpler content tend to attract more audiences. Demon slayer is a series you only need to watch a single anime of to get the story. Things in the nasuverse like fate are peak fiction and far better story wise but also harder to recommend cause there is a ton of spinoffs and different branching pieces of content and the best ways of consuming certain content are not even animated.
The original fate series fate stay night for example is a visual novel with 3 story arcs inside of it (fate arc, unlimited blade works arc and heavens feel arc) . But each of them were animated seperately over the years by different studios and with varying degrees of quality in terms of animation and how it adapts the story.
So most people get into the series by watching the more straightforward prequel fate zero although the series is not really meant to be consumed in that matter…
In short, the nasuverse is awesome but it takes tons of investment and someone actually wanting to know everything. Most people will likely just move on after 1 or two series or not even bother cause it's too much of a time sink
