  1. Why would a space faring civilization like have wind farms as they show in the pilot of Strange New Worlds, and why would they have a audio system that is made to look like a phonograph, delivers crappy old phonograph sound, yet is clearly not actually a phonograph? Some to the props used in this trek is just dumb. They have reactors that can power star ships as well as entire cities with advanced reactions and don't need to affect things like wildlife, just as they have holodecks and advanced sound reproduction systems that don't need to be crappy. If they want to use a phonograph, then use a phonograph. Picard likes old stuff, give him an actual vintage phonograph so he can listen to music from 400 years ago, for some reason, not some ridiculous imitation that uses advanced data storage. Also, turn on the lights!!

  2. I don’t know about anyone else, but I once theorized that this code might involve a message from Beverly Crusher since I watched it from an earlier teaser clip, and sure enough, I was right.

  3. He said 20 year old communicator. More like 40 year old. We're supposed to forget how much time ACTUALLY PASSED and that his new son is 20-21 years old not 34 like Ed Speleers is.
