THE MIRROR OF TRUTH THAT RENDS THE DARKNESS | WILL DRESS SEASON 2 WATCH ALONG | CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD

#cardfightvanguard #overdress #willdress

Yuyu finally returns to blackout, only to find Urara deep in the Uniformers’ clutches. The two have a cardfight, and Urara shows off how strong she’s gotten by abandoning her past style for that of the Uniformer way. But is that true strength, or mindless self deception?

  1. The elimination of the original forms of the masques units are also representative of Uniformers mentality of shedding originality and unique styles by getting rid of the old you. It’s really cool how this season really ties with the lore.

  2. so a few things Godsman….loved the episode yuyu was badass. I know people have been knocking it but im actually going to try using both overdress and xoverdress in my jheva deck when everything gets released. I am actually looking forward to trying it out and hopefully making it work. Also very excited to see the new drajeweled. Curious though if its a mask or just a different version since michiru is still following hos own path.

  3. Hehe, glad I leave a strong impression lol. But ironically enough, this episode singlehandedly redeemed Urara for me lmao; what funny timing xD Also glad this did Yuyu justice too, like any slight doubts I had about “plot armor” got erased with this fight, that felt like full skill from both Urara and Yuyu. Prolly my favorite episode and fight of Will+Dress S2. I still think Urara’s whole plot would have hit harder if she was weaker at the beginning, but like I said, I think the episode did both her and Yuyu justice

  4. This was as you so aptly put it, a great episode. It really hits you.
There were several moments throughout the fight where I basically felt like I had some kind of lump in my throat if you get me?
And when 'Future will come' started playing there at the end of that mirrorscape whatever to call it scene and seeing Urara back to her proper self so to speak, I almost shed tears of joy.

And Halona.. sheesh, very indoctrinated are you?

  5. I think this episode can be sum up by Yuyu's word, "the reflection of mirror is a false, yet it's a vision more true than reality" the reflection of mirror are not you but what you see from said reflection are the image of your soul/whole being. The messeage here is you can accept any person believe, but at the end what you truly should believe is none other than yourself.

  6. Michiru better be fighting next week, cause I can't wait any longer for Drajeweled Masques and the potential additional RR support (1 slot left for Dark States)

  7. What makes this shit creepy is that the series is very grounded in reality compared to the early series and this type of thing is very real. The fact she changed this much in such a short amount of time via vr training and verbal manipulation makes it very disgusting and terrifying. Also keep in mind she's a 13 year old kid who up until season 1 of will dress felt completely alone. Thank God yuyu was able to help her not by force but by telling her he will accept her as long as the path she's on is the one SHE chose as her identity as a cardfighter

  8. How dare yall claim Valiente is the underdog, when yall don't even remember Erger existence cause he's name locked. I miss him, he's definitely my favorite Vairina form in terms of design with Mirrors being next.

The actual episode was good, I like that the fight was realistic and the message was sent fine, I enjoyed Halona showing her true colors and honestly that scene when Urara was trying to impress Yuyu but him just turning her down cause it didn't feel right really hit me, as someone who has tried to do their best but nobody really gives a mind about that effort or change. I actually think Uniformers as a training program is good, the ideology just needs to be changed cause Urara did come out of this with better cards and guarding styles lol.

P.S. I like how she idolizes that fight between Yuyu and Raika in the season finale but personally I found that her fight with Yuyu that happened 3 EPs before was still the best back to back feeling of that season, it only was bittersweet because her plot armor was through the roof that season, should not had been the case imo. I'm still waiting for them we actually get some focus on Megumi they can't keep putting teasers of her hesitation and needing to improve or change and dumping it next EPs as if it didn't happen like this
