people need to understand. Conte is trying to undo the last 5 years of bullshit. a coach's job is to implement what works. what works can only happen if you are set up to perform it? The spurs have not been set up to win. THAT'S WHAT HE IS DOING. Progress doesn't always look like constant forward motion. You can't have won nothing in 2 decades and expect to win something 15 months into a trophy-winning manager arriving. it doesn't work like that..
If you look at the top 3 teams in the league at the moment all 3 managers have had horrible spells when the team wasn't playing how the fans think they should. That's because it takes time to implement a new way of thinking.. they got given then time and they are all making progress. I don't understand why people think the spurs are any different. We operate with a different financial structure and have different goals outside of football than the top 3 teams in the league. losing to a championship side has been happening for decades…. it happens!! Even If we had beaten Milan would we have won it? of course not…. so I don't get why people are so angry about certain results, it's a little bit delusional. We didn't back poch when we should have and as a result, it's taken us 4/5 years of bullshit managers to find a manager that can undo the broken mentality of the club. Now we have and because he's not turned us into title-challenging contenders we want to sack him…. it makes NO SENSE!!!
If the manager cannot install a winning mentality into this group of players and alter his tactics to fit the opposition before and during the game then he should go. Obviously also Antonio has had a terrible personal six months. Wrong manager, wrong time. Spurs need to move on.

The situation can only get worse – his team selection, subs, and rigidly sticking to the same formation are just the worst parts of what we see on the pitch. Spurs need to act like they have pride, rather than simping around him like he's the only manager in town.

As a lifelong Tottenham supporter (I am 75)we face and have faced yet another bland season. This we expected to be the season Tottenham we’re going to do it. It was not and to add salt to our emotions is that the team in red down the road are doing very well.
