Order ‘Mirror To The Sky’ here: https://Yes-Band.lnk.to/MirrorToTheSkyID
‘Cut From The Stars’ is the first single from ‘Mirror To The Sky’ out 19th May 2023
Lyrics:
Starlight
Gaze out
Walkabout
International dark sky park
Desert
Twilight
Second sight
International dark sky park
Relate
Reach out
Fathom what life is all about
Each atom cut from the stars
When I’m in need of some perspective
I find my place in the jewelled collective
Daylight glare blinding me
Only after dark may I clearly see
Look up
Breathe out
Walkabout
International dark sky park
I wanna be in zero G
International dark sky park
Relate
Reach out
Fathom what life is all about
Each atom cut from the stars
In the light of pure perfection
Troubles are so very small
Planetary sanctuary
I touch
I can reflect it all
Envision
Envision
(Ignite the spark)
Vision in vision
We have transmission after dark
Andromeda
Dog Star splendor
Horizon lightening
Distant thunder
A canvas for creation theory
Now the hunter’s in the southern sky
Have you really travelled so many light years to
find us
So confused and so careless
In desperate need of awareness
Our pale blue dot
Dangling in the crossfires
Unravelling
(Reeling and reeling)
But what of the healing
In the light of pure perfection
Troubles are so very small
Planetary sanctuary
We touch
Retrace
Embrace it all
Envision
Envision
(Ignite the spark)
Vision in vision
(Point of ignition)
Envision
Envision
(Ignite the spark)
Vision in vision
Vision our mission
We have transmission after, after dark
After dark

Can't fault this cover band for trying, but this sounds like a parody of a Yes song instead of a Yes song.
Nenhuma novidades e repetição de fórmulas. Optaram pelo óbvio sendo capazes de muito mais.
✌🧡
4:38 I like the synth playing…and the guitar responding
En tiempos donde la música es chata ,copiada y aburrida escuchar este regalo musical es realmente emocionante
The first new YES song that I have listened to all the way through since the Fly From Here album (which I love). I quite like this. Make no mistake tho, the usual abundance of Steve Howe ideas are never better used than when Jon Anderson uses them. Steve Howe is my music hero, but I don't think he makes for a great producer. However, I will give this new material some 'fresh ears'. Peace
Wow, this is a cool tune!!! Forever YES
I’m hoping this album is not like…THE quest and more synthsizers and keyboards…
Not bad, very Yeslike
Bravo to Steve for keeping it together and moving forward and upward (because, let's be honest, there was not much further down to go from The Quest). I think I and a lot of people will be skeptical of Yes without Anderson (and I'm not afanboy; Drama is in my top three favorites, though it was not a sustainable lineup from the start), but it's nice to hear material from Steve's Yes and say it's even somewhat engaging.
Nothing special …..
Fantastica, bentornati. Speechless, welcome back guys
Até parece Jon Anderson … mas não é…
Awful – soulless and robotic. Steve Howe continues to destroy Yes's legacy. Shameful.
Yawn.
I'm happy that the band goes on, creating new music. Solid song!
This band is really incredible, they mantain their style intact!!!
Reminds me of fans who went nuts over McCartney’s last few albums mostly just because he was putting out material, but were very forgettable.
If Starcastle put out an album around the time of Magnifcation, it would sound like this. Actually, the material on the first Starcastle album is better than this little ditty.
Hey ChatGPT: Write me some "Yes" lyrics about the sky…
Now that’s what I’m talking about!
wow.a pleasant surprise.
Like it. Hope the longer pieces on the album have more scope and depth. Looking forward to finding out.
The drummer is playing lousy.
Nice nice one thanks for sharing💕
Is that Anderson ? Man it sounds just like him
Sounds like Tormato pt. 2. Which is not a bad thing for me.
I don't know if I'm describing this right, but the undulating melody to this song is really captivating.
Yes!!! Lyrically, Jon Davison is the new Jon Anderson, except in a world where people are open to it instead of thinking that the singer is out of his mind. With all the new spiritual awakenings and meditative states and openness to the stars, this fits so in. It will be interesting if people who are spiritual hear this. This works so well. So happy. I just wish they would play more of this music instead of trying to replay the past. That was great music but this is more in line with their message. Please play this live. BTW I loved The Quest!
¡enjoyed at 7:06 pm Pacific Standard Time on Saturday, 11 March 2023!
"International Dark Sky Park"? and "Creation Theory"? Ummm.. IS there not a better way to talk about light pollution.. and WTH is "Creation Theory" doing in there?
As a long time fan of YES from their beginning, this song is fantastic! It captures the best “signatures” and essence of YES. The answer is YES!!!
Went in thinking not to like it but…
More Yes-like than expected…and for quite some time. Of course, the guitars met the criteria but I also thought there was some nice Squire emulation as well as an Anderson-esque melody…still kept it their own.
Hats off.
Seen them 3 times rip Chris and Alan your dearly missed one of the greatest harmonies you'll hear Chris and Jon were meant to be in yes always a great visual live show
Loving This Song. ❤️
Sound oh So Tight Together.
Jay is a Awesome Drummer and Percussionist. Billy Sherwood Shines.
Excelente canción. Que a estas alturas de su carrera sean capaces de componer y tocar algo de este nivel, dice mucho de los fantásticos YES. Muchas ganas de verles en Barcelona en un par de meses.
Definitely YES of old. 💖
Just about perfect, especially the bass part! A step forward from The Quest, awesome!
Embarrassing
I'm ver impressed by the production of Steve, some sounds remind me to the Lunar Mist Album, another very fine and especially Album by Steve.
not bad, but Jons composition influence is sadly missing

Only Steve Howe from the first and regular gang but still Yes sounds! Nice to hear that…
