I was close to tearing up when Thorfinn started crying and apologizing to all the souls. I love, absolutely love how Thorfinn (or his VA) said "tatakae" when he swore off violence. He's the polar opposite of Eren but I also love Eren's "tatakae"
Thors was covered in bodies because he was also a warrior weighed down by his sins, but Thorfinn couldn't see it until he made the same mistakes.

Everytime I watch an episode of Farmland Saga, it feels like a refreshing breath of ice cold air after you've been stuck in a hot stuffy house all day.

This episode did such an great job frame by frame to the manga. I just love the symbolism when throfrin was hanging on to the base of the cliff and so he's still able to climb up but askelad although wasn't down in the water at first was standing on a broken pillar a nod back to the time they talked about how time goes on and everything fades away. But also how he cannot climb back up and is disconnected from the cliffs base q because he sealed his fate already.

4:00 No I think its the opposite, their life started similar, both a savage warrior who killed a lot and the dead will forever haunt them for it,but Thors is in the light bcuz he became a better person while Thorfinn is still stuck on the ground in the dark, overwhelmed by guilt n practically lost his will to live, Askeladd set him straight n now he is on the same path Thors took even tho the nightmares probably wont stop(like even Thors years after his death still crowded with ghosts cursing him)
thorfinn had to acknowledge and accept the weight of how many people he slaughtered to be able to climb up the hole and overcome his past. such a dope series bro 😭

yeah this episode was amazing on so many levels… i still dont think his fights over yet though i have a gut feeling either everything will be taken from him like he did to others or hell be scripted to fight in a war… i just cant see this as a happy ever after kinda show lol… im anime only so nobody spoil me lol
Self defense is okay, but then again Thors didn't kill anyone even when he was defending their ship.
