They literally went "hey remember all the fluffiness and wholesomeness from little sweet Urara, yeah screw your feelings and forget all that cuz dark stuff is coming to your face and there's nothing you can do about it".
Also not only they got Michiru but RAIKA'S ENTIRE TEAM?! You wonder why he looked so broken in episode 1.
Also also little fact check here, Reno's VA Rinu (who's also one of the members of Strawberry Prince; singers of the current opening) WAS a girl, now transition as a guy. Hence the very high and feminine voice. Hope that helps. And hopefully doesn't get your buddy in trouble lol

U know I know they need to show the new stuff I get it. But having characters who got really good and grow just to lose to all the new stuff….eh not a fan of it..looking forward to the next episodes. I feel like everyone except danji reika and yuyu are gonna be with the main villain.
Probably my favorite episode so far, I actually enjoy filler and calm before storm episodes, and Reno is adorable, Tenma is cool, the fight was enjoyable too bad there wasnt an animation on Granfia or the tokens but hey Urara emotes. Also that ending, my heart dropped, I'm not ready for evil Urara
If new girl forgot her name the black haired one doesn't use Solrairion, if we do get another appearance of Reno-Ten which I hope so, Tenma might be the user of Solrairion seems fitting for him tbh
Not a bad episode, but not one I’m gonna be rewatching like I did with the prior ones with Raika v Sophie or Michiru v Junko. I will say tho, these episodes have finally given me that feeling of “these cards feel more like characters again,” which is a welcome return to the good card design; you can kinda feel the fury in Youthberk when matched with Raika, overwhelming strength from Drajeweled with Michiru, etc. Now with Unica and Granfia, they truly feel like characters in card form and I’m a huge fan, I’m fully back in the Vanguard hole again haha
