I’ll never forget when you guys beat Boston in Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals to win back to back championships 🏆 My childhood of watching basketball will always be memorable because I got to watch some magic happen when you played on the Lakers with your friend and brother Kobe. Congratulations Pau! Lakers Nation forever 🟣🟡

I know this is about Pau, but I need to say something about Vanessa. I have tremendous respect for this woman. She lost her husband and daughter three years ago and the sadness is still in her eyes. She has had three years to start dating again and we haven’t heard a peep from anyone about that simply because she isn’t. She’s taken the time to grieve her husband and daughter, she is still obviously deeply affected by it and she is still raising her daughters with a smile on her face so that she can lessen the tragedy that they’re growing up fatherless and with one less sister. RESPECT to this woman. Rip Kobe and Gigi.

When my father told me that the Lakers traded Kwame Brown for Pau Gasol, I was more happy than shocked! Thank you for Pau for being the difference maker in bringing home back to back championships! RESPECT!!!!

When Fisher said it was 15 years ago i began thinking to myself WTH?! Was it really that long ago? Hahaha

As a spaniard who grew up playing basketball all I wanted to do as a kid was to be like Pau Gasol… he is the idol to an entire generation of players that were watching him play with the Lakers back in the late 2000s and early 2010s (this includes Luka Doncic by the way, he was one of those kids)

Game 7 vs. Celtics 2010 – 19 pts, 18 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks! Pau showed his heart, skill and toughness once again on the biggest stage. Congrats to Pau Gasol and Lakers!
